March 2017: Promotio sub auspiciis Praesidentis rei publicae for Dr. Daniel Kraft

Dr. Daniel Kraft, former graduate student of the IGDK, was awarded with the promotio sub auspiciis (prasidentis rei publicae) on March 29th, 2017.

July 2016: Howard Rosenbrock Prize 2015 for Prof. M. Ulbrich

Prof. Michael Ulbrich, member of the IGDK, and Dr. Moritz Simon win the Howard Rosenbrock Prize 2015 for the best paper published in the journal Optimization and Engineering (OPTE) in 2015.

December 2015: Approval of the second funding period!

After an excellent evaluation in September 2015, the DFG in Germany and the FWF in Austria approved the prolongation of the IGDK Munich-Graz until the end of February 2021 and granted additional funding.

Since the launch of the IGDK1754 in September 2012, 14 dissertations have already been successfully completed. All graduates have attained positions in academia and in industry.

For the second funding period there are open doctoral positions both in Munich and in Graz and open post-doctoral positions in Munich.

July 2015: Website of Graduate Office at TUM is online now

The Graduate Office is the coordinating entity and contact point for all matters related to the doctoral programs of the Mathematics Department at TUM. The Graduate Office also provides information and practical help for all administrative formalities at the different stages of the doctorate at TUM. Please visit our webpage.
